Scandinavian Cello School (SCS) præsenterer “SCS Next Generation” !
Koncerter i 2024 bringer nogle af de bedste unge klassiske musikere fra hele verden til at deltage i SCS-programmet “Fremtidens Lyd” – kulminerende i en aftenkoncert på Stevns.
”Fremtidens Lyd” er støttet af DMF, Solistforeningen, Pianoteket og Statens Kunstfond.
Luka Coetzee, Cello and Nicolas Absalom, Piano
Both have been awarded prizes at international competitions and regularly participate in music festivals on the international stage. Luka was most recently awarded the 1st prize at the International Paulo Cello Competition in Helsinki, Finland. She was also awarded the 1st prize at the Pablo Casals International Award in El Vendrell, Spain and Nicolas was awarded a 3rd Prize at the International Carl-Maria von Weber Competition in Dresden, Germany.

In July 2023, the Duo made their international debut at the “International Festival for Young Talents” in Cannes (FR). Now, the Duo looks forward to further performances in Germany, Holland, Spain and Canada.
As a Duo, they want to present programmes that not only highlight the well-loved classics but also showcase works of marginalised or banned composers. There are many great and varied works that deserve their place in the standard repertoire.
På koncertsteden – Traktørstedet Højeruplund – vil der blive serveret “stegebuffet” fra kl.17-18.45. Traktørstedet Højeruplund serverer god traditionel mad, i flotte lokaler der emmer af historie, beliggende i naturskønne omgivelser ved Stevns klint.
